About ICA 2025
ICA is a biennial event of the Instrumentation and Control Research Group—now rebranded as the Instrumentation, Control, and Automation Research Group—, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Established in 1988, a national seminar series in the field of instrumentation and control has been consistently organized by the Instrumentation and Control Research Group. Aligned with ITB’s vision of becoming a World-Class University, these seminars were elevated in 2009 to an international conference under the title International Conference on Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (ICA).
Until its most recent edition in 2023, ICA has been successfully conducted with hundreds of participants from dozens of countries. The conference series featured the publication of hundreds of scientific papers, which were made available through the IEEE Xplore portal and indexed by Scopus.
Looking ahead, the next ICA, marking its 9th edition, will take place from Wednesday to Friday, 27th–29th August 2025, in Bandung, Indonesia. ICA 2025 aims to strengthen networking among international researchers, engineers, and professionals by providing a platform for the exchange of ideas and collaboration to advance the science and technology of instrumentation, control, and automation.
This year, ICA 2025 is organized in partnership with the IEEE Indonesia Section, the IEEE Indonesia Control Systems and Robotics and Automation (CSS/RAS) Joint Societies Chapter, the IEEE Indonesia Instrumentation and Measurement and Information Theory (IMS/ITS) Joint Societies Chapter, and the IEEE Indonesia Vehicular Technology and Intelligent Transportation Systems (VTS/ITSS) Joint Societies Chapter, to facilitate the publication of accepted papers in IEEE Xplore.
